Natasha Henstridge was born on August 15, 1974 in Springdale, Newfoundland and Labrador, Canada. She is a Canadian fashion model turned actress.

He was cast at age 21 in the 1995 science fiction movie Species which did well and put her in the spotlight. Her fame did not last, however, as her roles in subsequent films were less popular. She had roles in Maximum Risk, Adrenalin: Fear the Rush, and Standoff.

In 1998 she starred in Species II and in 2000 in The Whole Nine Yards. She has also done a few roles on television, such as South Park and The Outer Limits.

On October 14, 1998 she had a son, Tristan River Waite, with fiance and actor Liam Waite. Henstridge was earlier married to actor Damian Chapa for short while in 1995. Also she is dating Scottish singer-songwriter and actor Darius Danesh.
