Jason Michael Lee was born April 25, 1970 in Orange, California, USA. He is an American actor and professional skateboarder.

He starred in Chasing Amy (1997), and that film's success led to other roles in a variety of films, including Enemy of the State (1998), Mumford (1999) and Dogma (1999).

In 2000 Lee appeared as the egotistical lead singer of Stillwater, the rock bank in Almost Famous, and in 2001 he co-starred with Tom Cruise in Vanilla Sky. In 2004 he voiced the character Syndrome from the animated feature The Incredibles.

His last projects include Monster House (2006) and Underdog (2007).

Lee was married to actress and photographer Carmen Llywellyn from 1995 to 2001. Lee is a member of the Church of Scientology.
