Theodore Scott Glenn was born on January 26, 1941 in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, USA. He is an American actor known for appearing in supporting roles.

In 1965 he appeared in The Edge of Night (1968) and The Baby Maker (1970). Other films include Nashville (1975), Apocalypse Now (1979), and The Right Stuff (1983).

His success carried over into the '90s, with roles including submarine captain Bart Mancuso in The Hunt for Red October (1990), Jodie Foster's FBI superior Jack Crawford in The Silence of the Lambs (1991), and veteran firefighter John Adcox in Ron Howard's Backdraft (1991).

He also starred in Training Day (2001), Freedom Writers (2007) and The Bourne Ultimatum (2007).
