Isla Lang Fisher was born on February 3, 1976 in Muscat, Oman. She is an Australian actress and author.

She starred in TV series "Bay Cove" (1993). This led to a bigger part in the series "Paradise Beach" (1993). When that show ended she landed a role in the long-running Australian soap opera "Home and Away" (1988).

She also starred in Wedding Crashers (2005), alongside Vince Vaughn and Owen Wilson. In 2006, Fisher in drama London alongside Jessica Biel, Chris Evans and Jason Statham. Her most recent role is in The Lookout, a thriller co-starring Joseph Gordon-Levitt and Matthew Goode.

Fisher resides in Los Angeles, California, as well as in London, with comedian Sacha Baron Cohen. She has converted to Orthodox Judaism in advance of her marriage to Cohen, who is Jewish.
