Marlon Wayans

Marlon Wayans was born on July 23, 1972 in New York City, New York. He is an American actor, producer, comedian, writer, and director of movies.

He made his film debut at the age of 15 in I’m Gonna Get You Sucka (1988), directed by and starring brother Keenan Ivory Wayans. In 1992, he played a role in the feature film Mo’ Money (1992), written by and starring his brother Damon. The same year, he became a regular alongside his three brothers on the TV sketch comedy series In Living Color. In 1995, Shawn and Marlon got their own WB sitcom, The Wayans Bros., which ran for four years.

After that, Marlon’s career took off. Along with Shawn, he co-wrote, co-produced and co-starred in Don’t Be a Menace to South Central While Drinking Your Juice in the Hood (1996). He then took on the leading role of Kenny Tyler in the comedy The Sixth Man (1997).

Marlon also wrote the screenplay for Scary Movie, a spoof on horror films. He also starred opposite Tom Hanks in crime comedy The Ladykillers (2004), Little Man (2006) and Norbit (2007).
