• Garner hits alarm for privacy

Jennifer Anne Garner was born on April 17, 1972 in Houston, Texas, USA. He is a Golden Globe Award- and SAG Award-winning and Emmy Award-nominated American film and television actress, and producer.

Garner began her acting career in New York in the mid-1990s, then moved to Los Angeles, where she won several small roles in television productions. Her regular appearances on TV's Felicity (1998) led to movie roles, including Dude, Where's My Car? (2000) and Pearl Harbor (2001).

More importantly, Felicity creator J. J. Abrams tapped Garner for the lead role in Alias (2001), the hit show that made her a star. Since then she has appeared in feature films, with a small role in Catch Me If You Can (2002), as Elektra in Daredevil (2003) and the lead role in the comedy 13 Going on 30 (2004).

She starred also Catch and Release (2006) and The Kingdom (2007).

Garner married Felicity costar Scott Foley in October 2000; they divorced in March 2004. She began dating actor Ben Affleck that year and married him in a private ceremony in the Caribbean on June 29, 2005. Their daughter, Violet, was born the following November.
