Born may 2, 1972 Dwayne Douglas Johnson aka "The Rock" or "Rocky Maivia" of WWE fame towers at 6'4 and weighs in at 270lb's. He attended high school at Freedom High School Bethlehem, Pennsylvania, where he lettered in track and football, he also attended University of Miami where gained degrees in exercise physiology and criminology. He also played football and was a national champ in his freshman year of 1991. The Rock was a defensive linesman for the University of Miami.

He took the opportunity to jump into acting, where his Schwarzenegger - like physique won him a small part in The Mummy Returns (2001), with Brendan Fraser. He was rewarded with the lead in the spinoff film The Scorpion King the next year. A bona fide leading man and action hero, in 2004 he appeared as lumber-swinging Sheriff Chris Vaughn in a remake of the 1973 film Walking Tall. Johnson turned in a terrific comedic performance in the John Travolta flop Be Cool (2005), then went back to hard-hitting action and drama with Doom (2005) and Gridiron Gang (2006).

He married his high school sweetheart, Dany Garcia, in 1997; they have one daughter, Simone Alexandra.
