The son of Debbie and Warren Wood and brother of 7 years older brother Zack and 2 years younger sister Hannah, is today known as one of Hollywoods most talented actors. Moving to LA at the age of seven, Elijah experienced the first major change in his life in order to pursue a career.
However, Elijah began modelling at a young age and did television commercials before moving on to his first movie “Back to the future 2 “. As his popularity grew, Elijah starred in the sucessful “Deep impact” as well as sci-fi movie “The faculty”. The film version of “The bumblebee flies anyway” was another step on his career ledder.
In 2001 he landed his biggest succes by playing the leading role of Frodo Baggins in “Lord of the rings- the fellowship of the rings” as well as the other two parts of the movie “The two towers” and “The return of the king”.
After having a short affair with Franka Potente, who played in “Try seventeen” as well as he did, he errased Jim Carrey´s mind in “Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind”. The last one of his movies, that could be seen in the movie theaters was “Everything illuminated”.
