Leah Remini was born on June 15, 1970, in Brooklyn, New York. She has moved to Los Angeles at the age of 13.

Leah got her first role as an actress on an episode of "Head of the Class". Now she is best known for her role as Carrie Heffernan in The King of Queens.

Leah also starred in "Saved By The Bell", playing "Stacy Carosi", and "Living Dolls", playing "Charlie Briscoe", "Cheers" as "Sarafina Tortelli", "Evening Shade" as "Daisy".
