Sylvester Stallone, full name Michael Sylvester Gardenzio Stallone, is an American actor, producer and movies director.

Sylvester Stallone was born in New York City, USA, on July 6, 1946. His father, Frank Stallone Sr., a beautician was an immigrant from Gioia del Colle, Italy, her mother Jacqueline Labofish, an American astrologer.

His childhood Stallone has spent in Northeast Philadelphia, were he has attended Lincoln High School. Later, for a semester he has also attended Bishop Snyder High School in Silver Spring, Maryland. By 1960, Stallone was graduated the American College of Switzerland in Leysin, followed by the University of Miami for three years.

Stallone's first few film roles were very small. He had brief unaccredited appearances in Woody Allen's Bananas (1971) and in the psychological thriller Klute (1971). But the role who made Stallone most popular and give him a wide fame was the Academy Award winning for Best Picture - Rocky (1976). This movie was nominated for ten Academy Awards, as well as two for Sylvester Stallone, for Best Actor and for Best Original Screenplay. Three years later was released Rocky II, also written and directed by Stallone. This one was a great success as the movie won about $ 200 mil.

Stallone is one of the founding partners in Planet Hollywood, the internationally famous chain of entertainment complexes. Among other principals in Planet Hollywood are producer Keith Barish, The Rank Organization, Robert Earl, Arnold Schwarzenegger and Bruce Willis.

Stallone has five children (sons Sage Moonblood and Seargeoh and daughters Sophia Rose, Sistine Rose and Scarlet Rose) and has been married three times, to Sasha Czack (1974–1985), Brigitte Nielsen (1985–1987), and Jennifer Flavin (1997 - pressent).
