Scott Speedman was born on September 1, 1975 in London, England. He is an Canadian film and television actor.

He appeared on Speaker’s Corner, a viewer open-forum run by Toronto’s City TV. Speedman’s television debut came in 1995 on the Canadian series Net Worth.

His big break was in a new television series called Felicity. In 2000, Speedman landed the role of Billy Hannan opposite Gwyneth Paltrow in the film Duets.

In 2003 he starred opposite Kurt Russell in cop-drama Dark Blue. Speedman appeared opposite Kate Beckinsale in the supernatural thriller Underworld (2004).

He also has appeared in Underworld: Evolution (2006), Anamorph (2007) and The Strangers (2008).
