Allison Joy Langer Courtenay was born on May 22, 1974 in Columbus, Ohio. She is an American actress.

She appeared on several television shows, including The Wonder Years and Drexell's Class. She also appeared on the sitcoms It's Like, You Know... and Three Sisters, in John Carpenter's film Escape From L.A. and in Wes Craven's horror film The People Under the Stairs.

Her last credits include Platonically Incorrect (2003) and in TV series "Eyes" (2005-2007).

Langer married Charles Peregrine Courtenay, Lord Courtenay in 2004.
