Jared Tristan Padalecki was born on July 19, 1982 in San Antonio, Texas. He is an American actor.

In 1999 Jared won the Claim to Fame Contest and got to appear on the Teen Choice awards.

Before becoming an actor Jared lived in San Antonio, Texas and attended James Madison High School. He was named a candidate for the year 2000 Presidential Scholars Program. After graduating in the year 2000 he moved to Los Angeles, California to pursue an acting career.

He played Dean Forester (2000-2004) on The hit WB show "Gilmore Girls" (2000).

Recently Jared Co-Stared in the movie remake House of Wax which also stared Elisha Cuthbert, Friend Chad Michael Murray and Paris Hilton which whom had a crush on Jared durring filming.

Currently Jared can be seen in the new WB Show Supernatural on Tuesday with his Co-star Jensen Ackles.
