Janine Turner was born on December 6, 1962 in Lincoln, Nebraska, USA. She is an American actress.

Turner began her acting career in 1980, at the age of 18, in an episode of Dallas. She appeared in the music video "Ricochet" by David Bowie.

She appeared in the big budget action film Cliffhanger (1993), starring Sylvester Stallone. In 2006, she appeared in a low budget film filmed in Dallas, The Night of the White Pants.

Janine also has appeared in televisions production as "Northern Exposure" (1990-1995), "Strong Medicine" (2000-2002).
