Patrick Raymond Fugit was born on October 27, 1982 in Salt Lake City, Utah. He is an American actor.

He began acting in a summer theatre program through the University of Utah at age eleven. He continued on through high school and regional productions.

He landed supporting roles in Touched By an Angel and in the TV movie Legion of Fire: Killer Ants!. Patrick received his first movie role in Almost Famous after two auditions. Patrick
