Lauren German was born on November 29, 1978 in Huntington Beach, California, USA. She is an American actress.

Her first acting role was as a "Lovestruck Woman" in Down To You. Since that appearance she has gone on to guest appearances in 7th Heaven and Going to California. She has starred in the TV show Sex, Love & Secrets. Her movie roles include A Walk to Remember (2001).

She also appeared in the 2003 remake of The Texas Chainsaw Massacre, as well as for starring in the 2007 film Hostel: Part II, in which she plays one of the lead characters.
