Calliope "Callie" Thorne was born on November 20, 1969 in Massachusetts, USA. She is an American actress.

She has had guest spots on such series as ER (2005 - 2006), Law & Order: Criminal Intent (2004), Law & Order: Special Victims Unit (2003 - 2004), The Wire (2002 - 2004) and Prison Break (2006).

In 1997 and 1998 Thorne also appeared as Det. Laura Ballard on the television series Homicide: Life on the Street.

She also appeared in The Country Club (1999) and The Last Days of Judas Iscariot (2005).

Currently she starred in television series Rescue Me.
