Mary Sean Young was born on November 20, 1959 in Louisville, Kentucky, USA. She is an American actress.

She began her film career in 1980 in the film Jane Austen in Manhattan. After that she appeared in the 1981 film Stripes, and a substantial part in the cult classic Blade Runner (1982).

One of her biggest roles was in No Way Out, playing opposite Kevin Costner. Other notable credits include Dune, Wall Street, Fatal Instinct, Ace Ventura: Pet Detective and Baby: Secret of the Lost Legend.

Young also starred in Poor White Trash. Young was slated to appear in a starring role on the MyNetwork TV telenovela Art of Betrayal.
