Tim Blake Nelson was born on November 5, 1964 in Tulsa, Oklahoma. He is an American actor, film director, and singer.

He occasionally appeared in films throughout the 1990s, playing small roles in Hal Hartley's Amateur (1994), Donnie Brasco (1997) and The Thin Red Line (1998).

Nelson has appeared as an actor in Holes, Heavyweights, Minority Report (2002), Scooby-Doo 2, Monsters Unleashed, Meet the Fockers (2004), The Good Girl, Syriana (2005), and the critically-acclaimed HBO film, Warm Springs.

Nelson also had a featured role as Delmar in the film O Brother, Where Art Thou?.

Recently, he has been cast as Samuel Sterns in The Incredible Hulk (2008).
