Desmond Harrington was born on October 19, 1976 in Savannah, Georgia, USA. He is an American actor.

His first role was playing Aulon in Luc Besson's The Messenger: The Story of Joan of Arc. He soon later grabbed prominent roles in films such as The Hole, Ghost Ship and Wrong Turn.

He also starred in Taphephobia (2006) and TV Series "Sons & Daughters" (2006-2007) and "Rescue Me" (2007).
