• Jon Favreau loses 85 pounds

Jonathan K. Favreau was born on October 19, 1966 in Flushing, New York. He is an American actor and director.

Favreau landed his first film role, as the pudgy football player in the sleeper hit Rudy. He then moved to Los Angeles, where he made his breakthrough in 1996 as an actor-screenwriter with the film Swingers - a film that certainly was "money".

Since then, his credits have included Very Bad Things, Daredevil and the excellent Love & Sex, co-starring the very tall Famke Janssen. He also played a guest role in the sitcom Friends.

He also starred in blockbuster Deep Impact and the black comedy Very Bad Things (both 1998). His career continues to get hotter than ever, with roles in films such as Daredevil (2003), Something's Gotta Give (2003), Wimbledon (2004) and The Break Up (2006).

Favreau married Joya Tillem in November 24, 2000.
