Kevin Costner, full name Kevin Michael Costner is an American actor, producer and movies director.

Kevin Costner was born in Lynwood, California, on January 18, 1955.

His childhood Costner has spent in Orange County, then in Visalia (Tulare County) attending Mt. Whitney High School, and graduated from Villa Park High School in Villa Park, California in 1973. In 1978 Costner came to B.A. in business from California State University, Fullerton. At the same time with graduation, Costner got some interest in acting and made his film debut at 19 years old, in 1974, in Sizzle Beach movie.

The most popular success for Costner was the epic Dances with Wolves. He directed, produced and also starred in the film, that later was nominated for twelve Academy Awards and won seven.

Costner has three children with his first wife Cindy Silva: Annie (1984), Lily (1986) and Joe (1988). Kevin and Cindy divorced in 1994 after 16 years of marriage. In 2004, after ten years of being single, Costner married his girlfriend, a German model and handbag designer Christine Baumgartner. With Christine, Costner has another child, Cayden Wyatt Costner (2007).
